Tuned Tx 200 HC ..

Sat Apr 02, 2016 9:48 am

Here is a list what I've done to my Tx 200 ..

1. Cleaned the spring and polished the ends and de-burred spring ends.
2. Highly polished the trigger sears.
3. Replaced the rear spring gaurd with a steel one and have polished this to a mirror finish.
4. Put a Tinbum short stroke extension on and placed two power washers in.
5. Replaced the barrel seals.
6. Cleaned and polished the piston.

First crono readings where at 10.1 ftlbs then the power dropped to 8.8 ftlbs
then started to rise to mid 9's. My plan is to fire a full tin of cheap pellets
through the rifle to settle everything down and re-crono. Should the power rise
to mid 10's. If the rifle is shooting 10.5 - 10.8 ftlbs I will be happy ..

Hi Kieth
Yes I would be happy with 10.5/10.8 too
That's what my TX is at,but i have to sort my TX out before the meet.
It's been playing up a bit of late so just needs a little TLC,or I just might bring the AAS410.

Regards

Davy Thomas
did i mention,i have done one less meet then Ray, lol.

Hi Keith
My tx200hc. I fitted tinbum spring guide and top hat only, along with a good clean and light lube,
On my chrono puts out 10.57 ,
I'm very happy with it now,
Don't intend to do anything else too it.as I'd rather shoot it than keep messing about trying to improve it,
Hope you enjoy your Tx200hc
Enjoy :D
