If Delrin guides go its virtually always in the first 20 shots and caused by tiny imperfections in the plastic. If it happens later than this its due to a poorly finished spring, dieseling or other outside influence. Is the back of the flange profiled to fit the trigger block recess?

The guide and spring has been working fine and I've shot
nearly two tins of pellets through it ...
Back of the guide is not recessed it's flat same as the front ..

Is it a standard fit guide or an aftermarket job if so who's, I had a 95k that I fitted with a 'Tbt drop in kit' which I put probably 8-10 tins through before I sold the rifle to a friend who's promptly put maybe another 3-4 tins through it and it's still going strong, stripped it for him the other day (annual service) and the guides are still a sweet fit in the spring !...

Thankfully not! but, it happens, and is the reason why a lot of competition shooters stay with steel spring guides.

Would an alloy guide with a rubber coating have the same effect as delrin?

No, might not break as easily but, would not be slippery.
