Has anybody fitted a Titan XS Number 10 spring to a Short stroked Prosport?
If so how did it shoot?

I believe they are of a thinner wire, but stiffer and 10mm longer than the AA original.
Do they put extra strain on the cocking linkage.
Im hoping one would speed the action up ala gas ram??

you may need to shorten it if it's longer, or collapse a few coils. (titan)

piston extension will reduce the distance between rear of piston and trigger sear by 14mm. if you use the std length spring, you add 14mm of preload to the spring. if the replacement is 10mm longer than std an extra 10mm further. it may get coilbound without shortening. the force placed on the cocking linkage will be increased greatly. you may want to contact Nick Stanning and ask him which spring he recomends.

only difference between mk 1/2 piston and mk3 piston is length of latchrod. piston itself is the same.
