Expensive tune ..

Sat Jan 30, 2016 7:19 pm

This in the plan I have for my TX 200 HC ..

Polish the sears in the trigger ( I'm doing in morning )
replace the internals with a light piston
replace the cocking arm and shoe
fit shoulder strap fittings
shoulder strap.

Not a lot of change from £ 200,
now my new thinking is is it worth the expense.

with a lighter piston, you will need more spring as it will lower the power output. go too light, you will get piston bounce. don't let this put you off, a lighter piston does give a nice feel, just dont put it on too much of a diet.

A question that only you can answer, what is the desired change / result that you seek and how precisely will you measure it?. Not the sling etc of course but, the tune...

If you can't answer that now then save your money until you can / or no longer need to!

I have a HW 100 KT that I love using, it's very accurate and easy to use Gavin,
Before I bought the HW I used my TX to great affect, and when I take it out
in the field for plinking It's used the most ( brilliant fun ) ....

You forget how easy it is to get the rifle a few pellets and your off
no messing with air ..

good advice, if you do not know what you are seeking, how will you know how to find it. better to start with a destination in mind, rather than a random road trip.
