Tx 200 silencer or not ??

Sun Nov 29, 2015 2:18 pm

Just wondered how many use a silencer on there Tx 200 HC ???
If you do which one and why ??

To me the rifle looks so much better without one.

No need, unless you wish to be ultra quiet / courteous in the vicinity of neighbours etc. The whole point of the HC was to be shorter than the full length TX, adding a silencer negates that feature.
As to which looks better!, I have no idea but, can well imagine the Rambo bling brigade appreciating such an addition ;)

I have a small mini bunny buster silencer ( bought here in NZ ) on my HC. Mainly for quietness with neighbors close by and also because I've found that they generally tighten groups up. Also, I've found the full TX a little too front heavy the HC is a fair bit lighter in that regard. So, with the Vortek 12fpe kit and the small silencer ( 107mm x 22mm and 55g) it is ultra quiet, as accurate as any of my PCPs and spot on for Field Target.
