Heres how i fitted this little rubber buffer successful to my Tx200hc
1/ unscrew the end of the barrel (tx200hc) and poke out the remaining broken rubber stop, it just drops out the barrel end.
2/ I trimmed off the thin rubber tail leaving the thick stub still on and dropped the rubber buffer in boiling water, (watch those fingers)
Leave in there to soften for a couple of minutes
3/ then i just screwed it in with my thumb job done.
Ps: if you can't get it to fit in, Plan B
Get some hozelock o rings ebay item number 200345021257
And pop one or two onto the cocking lever
Hope this is of some use to someone

Good advice. Even so, it can still be a b*"%^r to fit. Be careful if you use any sort of steel implement to help it on it's way. I slipped and scratched the underside of the barrel. Not seriously, but a bloody nuisance none the less.
Come on Air Arms, surely there has to be a better way? At least on the HC, something could perhaps be let into the cocking aid.

Lol the first one I tried to push in with a blunt plastic tooth pick
It end up with a damaged rubber buffer
But Heating the rubber up in boiling water works a treat

A couple of "O" rings on the cocking aid of the HC works as good as anything else.

i used spare barrel seals to slide on to the 2 grooves on the cocking lever...works great.
