S200 dumping air

Hi All,
My new to me, but lived in s200 dump its air from time to time.
The problem being that the firing pin sticks in the forward position and so holds the valve in the cylinder open.
On taking it apart I find the C clip that should be on the inner end of the firing pin (42) sitting above the trigger blade(66) and the spring (41) behind the head of the firing pin and totally crushed.
Should the spring be on the inner end of the firing pin, holding the spring as a return spring?
If so how is the C clip refitted as its a pig to get into place inside the hammer bore?

Where can I purchase a new spring?
Direct from AA?
New to AA so don't yet know the in's and outs.
Any help appreciated
Phil

Hi Phil
I can't help with the spring/clip positioning unfortunately - but for spares Julian is you man. Check out air arms spares on the home page. Or send him a message - he's a really nice guy and the service is 2nd to none.

Problem sorted putting it through a cronograph it had been wound up to just under 20 ftlb and had flared the back end of the firing pin.
New pin, spring and c clip and now reset to 11.4 ftlb.
If you get a rifle or pistol second hand please check its power.
I could have been in deep trouble had it been
Checked by plod, and it would possibly have been retained by a dealer had I put it in for repair.
