Hi all... Just a quick note to ask if there are any quick fixes for getting the action on my S410 to be quieter without a major strip down. I am sure that it has got noisier or maybe my hearing aid is tuned to the highest frequencies so they get amplified? :?:
Cheers...Ralf

search the forum for de-pinger and anti-bounce hammer. They are not quick fixes!
Don't even think about oiling the hammer or spring.
Turn off the hearing aid is quickest.

I have never found them too be that noisy it doesn't help that your ear is right next too the action :) give it too someone else too cock and fire while you stand a few yards away too see if you still think that its too noisy.

Me neither re action but my 10m version has a bloop tube fitted aka an amplifier! We wear ear defenders or plugs too partly because of the bang indoors makes you jump, partly because of the dirty jokes in the back room.
But if the ear defenders touch the cheekpiece you can hear pinnnnnnggg!
