I've also cleaned all the threads and checked for damage to the filler valve and filler valve body threads and all appears fine, the seals are all new, I'm completely stumped, I guess the next logical step is to replace the cylinder and valve body and filler valve and refit new seals ??

did you get the seals from me or off ebay ?

if the cylinder is straight and not blown at the end you dont need to replace it , you could try replacing the fill valve body

The seals were from bagnall & kirkwood airgun spares

Where do I get the tool to remove the valve body from the cylinder?

The cylinder has a lane reg fitted, could this have anything to do with it ?

only if its leaking from the hole you drilled in the cylinder or it was leaking through the barrel.
