pjgtech wrote:Hmm, yep you are right, just checked the manual and it does indeed mention the dots. Maybe they have stopped doing it now? My rifle is brand new, only got it last week and the markings on the gun indicate it was made in march 2017, so looks like it is new and has not been sitting on a dealers shelf for months. I bought it from a major dealer (Pellpax) not the cheapest but I wanted the delivery service.

I will somehow stick a red dot on mine, I think the mag covers come apart don't they, as I know you can buy replacement ones?

Thanx

Yes they do come apart but open it up in a bag or you may lose the little spring or ball bearing.

I can see a rummage through the lady's make up bag coming up ... Nail varnish! Or a Sharpie used for writing on CDs etc. would work.

I'm going to put a black dot on mine, so I can see them in the dark. ;) .Rog

My mag seems to be differnt to the older ones, the older ones seem to have a central screw (as well as a red dot) presumably the screw allowed them to be taken apart, whereas mine, just has two bits of plastic, case and lid, with the rotary magazine inside, presiumably with a spring, and washer around the magazine, so how do I get it apart to mark the top of the rotary magazine? does it just pull apart? I don't want to break it if possible ... any ideas...? thanx

Where the central screw was is now an Allan head screw, so don't try to just pull it apart or you will wreck it. Rog

Well spotted, I've looked at the bloody mag several times but had not spotted that it is actually a small allan key nut / fixing in the centre.

I would have probably bodged it before noticing, so thanx. 8-)
