What's wrong with my trigger.

Tue Dec 13, 2016 11:25 am

I fitted crinkle washers to my trigger unit.
But now it's not cocking 2 times out of five.
Anyone know what's up in haven't turned any of the adjusting screws ?

Sounds like the cover plate is causing trigger sears to bind, take the washers out again, crinkle washers only work on old type trigger covers ie alluminium oblong plate, not needed on later covers.Rog

The crinkly washers are used to replace the o'rings in the older trigger housing with the flat plate. The later plate covers have raised bits incorporated.

Thanks guys, my rifle had the rubber washers and flat plate. Anyway I have removed the crinkle washers and replaced with the rubber washers. Back to normal.

Don't overtighten the cover plate screws, thats what causes the crinkle washers to bind, I put them into my S400 years ago, still ok. Rog
