Problem cocking my s410

Hi all
I have had this gun a few years now and had no issue with it. Today when i tried to cock it, the bolt was stuck and i was unable to pull it back to cock the gun. The bolt handle will lift but will not pull back. After a couple of attempts to pull the bolt back it moved back and cocked the gun. After dry firing the gun i again tried to cock it only for the same thing to happen. I tried it with the mag in but it made no difference. The bolt seems to stick and after a coulpe of attempts it will move to the open position.
At first i thought the O ring on the bolt had stuck on the the housing and the bolt handle but this is not the case
Anybody got any ideas how i can sort the problem.

Check the cocking dog isn't loose or the hammer spring hasn't broken.

Can't be hammer spring or he couldn't have dry fired it, you need to take it apart and have a peek. Rog

Might sound a daft question but is it safe to stip down with a full air cylinder.

Yes, the action will strip separately without touching the firing valve or the gauge. All pressure is held forward of the trigger unit.

Also worth checking that the Allen bolt holding the Cocking bolt is not loose while you are in stripdown mode!

Definitely not the allen bolt connecting the cocking bolt. The allen bolt is tight and the cocking bolt handle moves up to the point where it should pull back but it wont pull back. Will be stripping it out tomorrow and will let you know what i find.

Quick update.
Finaly got around to stripping the gun down and found that the T piece cut out in the breech to allow the bolt to travel and lock had developed a bur on the angle of the T towards the end of the breech. This was quickly rubbed off with a little bit of wet and dry. I think this may have occured over a long period if time by not raising the bolt quit high enough to draw it back and actually catching on the corner of the track causing the bur,as the bolt fitting into the track is stainless steel and harder than the breech metal.
All sorted now.
