When you do get a better set of figures can you also make a note of the start and end fill pressures. I'll need this in order to give a pointer to the fill pressure for the sweet spot.

Sounds almost like you have 2 weights of pellets mixed in your box. Any access to jeweler's scales so you can weigh some?

I don't think it's to do with the weight of the pellets as I have done 3 tests in total and used jsb excact for two of them and air arms field for the 3rd test both 8.4 g and still get similar results.its driving me crazy,in loosing all faith in this rifle,it's new and it's like this and I don't know how to sort it out :(

Have you tried pushing a pellet through the barrel to check for tight spots?

I don't mean to sound thick but what do you mean by pushing a pellet through.i think I'm just going to take the gun back to the shop I bought it from and tell them to have a look at it,and the end of the day it's more or less brand new and it isn't performing to the standard it should be.cheers

the S200 (normally) gives pellet on pellet groupings (& I should know) Raj & TT will back me up here, there is something wrong with that gun-take it back.
