If you have undone all 6 bolts, 2 underneath and 4 on the top, it should come apart. Rog

I could only see 4 mate. 2 on the top & the 2 from underneath

There are 6, 2 are just in front of bolt handle and there are 4 in the firing valve body. Rog

Are the bolt placement holes on a 400 block the same as a 410?

Early 400s all bolts are on top , later ones 4 on top 2 from underneath, the one's now all come from underneath, I believe all holes line up, but threads for bolts might be different ie could be threaded in bolt housing or firing valve and action. Hope that helps. Rog
