Ultimate glitch

Had reason to use the second mag of my 4 month old Ultimate Sporter the other day and annoyingly there is one section where it will not cam to the next (.177) pellet. It only half cams so the probe point runs up against the solid ally between pellet chambers. Even after stripping and lube it still does this. If I remove it and manually turn past this one point it works as it should. Anyone had the same problem? Do I simply send it back to AA under warranty?

You say 2nd magazine, so it works ok with the 1st one? If that's so I would send the mag to airarms and they should replace it, there other things aswell but go for the mag first. But as you say it is only 4 months old and you would be within your rights to return it to where you bought it from, and to be honest if you don't wish to invalidate your warranty that would be your best option. As above send it back. If the indexing spring is weak or not set correctly this sometimes happens.

Thank you, oh wise ones. I'll bell supplying RFD in the morning to see if he'll sort, or I'll go direct. It's not a big issue, he says.
Yes, the other mag works perfectly.

Contacted the RFD who supplied the Ultimate. The mag has to go back to the AA distributor. Emailed the distributor who replied instantly to say the suspect mag has to be returned to them via the RFD for invoicing reasons. Gotta haul butt to RFD to drop off the mag... at some point.
