super light stock

Hi guys been a while even had to register :oops: anyhow my friends looking to lighten his s410 and wants a superlight stock instead of his walnut one :o does anyone know a part number for these so i can ask julian for a price

Its good to see your back 8-) . Just pm Julian as he will know what the number is. I dont think there is that much in it really.

I hope your friend realises that Super Light = Super Soft. I believe it dinks from the sponge inside a hard case :o

Bearing in mind what Raj says (which is true :shock: ), the few ounces saved in weight is negated by the softness of Poplar which is the timber used for the super light stocks. Give me beech or walnut any day.

I agree with Raj and Geodie on this one, and i think Geordie and raj will know a little bit more about stocks than me :geek: :lol:

My two super light green stocks are fine, both used in the field, both with one or two marks. Would not like to take a nice walnut stock out and mark it while hunting. :ugeek:
