I could put a piece of pipe down over the allen key for the striker screw for more leverage but I'd be putting serious pressure on it, when you say use a little heat for the barrel shroud what exactly do you mean, bic lighter? gas torch?

Hairdryer.

Thanks.

Hiya! I'd love to see the pictures here, but they seem to have been removed/ links broken? IS it possible to fix this, please or perhaps PM/ email them? I'd be very grateful, as my S510 will no longer hold air (was leaking, then dumped remaining air and will only hold pressure for an hour or so) and I want to strip it and replace seals/ O-rings.

Thank you.

I came across this post for "fixing" photo bucket lost pics

http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/233791-Photobucket-fix

using the chrome "fix" I was able to see all the original photos and took the time to download copies just in case (when) Photobucket find a work around and lock things out again

I quickly "hacked " a document together .. its the original text and photos and no formatting / tidy up - doubt it will print as I did not scale the photos as I wished to keep them original size for clarity etc

Is it just me or have the Photobucket images all reappeared??

Re this bit pictured (thanks kev) if anyone has an action apart can they please give me two measurements...
1. from stock screw centre to gauge centre
2. from stock screw centre to back edge of dogleg

I am trying to determine if my MPR 10m stock (no gauge hole) can be easily converted by simple drilling to standard action with gauge.

I realise this is a thread from quite some time ago, but it certainly made my life easier, lost lots of power from my S510 , after my AT fell off as in the original description ;) .I've now got it all safely apart to check whats going on, looks like I'll be visiting Julian for a new firing valve very shortly then I can refresh all the seals and get it setup again, got to be the easiest to shoot and most accurate rifle I own at the moment, even with low power it out performs my HW100. So a big thanks to the original poster, don't even know if he still comes on here or not but thanks anyway :)

edit
Got two firing valves ordered this morning so I'm all set to complete it's full service now :)
