Garden Visitors

I have in my garden a most unusual visitor that comes to feed on a daily basis. Its a Blackbird; now I've seen the occasional one now and then with an odd white feather or two, but never have I seen one like this. It has taken quite a while to capture a photo as he is quite shy and this one isn't very good. He is quite a striking bird, more akin to a bald eagle.
I also have two others which are a type of tit which look like a cross between a willow tit and a swallow; unfortunately the photos I've taken are of little use to see them properly or clearly they are very skittish.

Wow Mason, that is one strange looking bird!
I use the constant picture setting on my camera, set up near the feeder taking pics every 20 secs & I've had some good results, but you need plenty of spare batteries.

Thanks Wastrel & AJS, he certainly is odd.

Half the picture seems to have disappeared :( , if you click on it though you can see it all on photo bucket. :D

I'll have to try and take some more.

We've got plenty of visitors but none with flaws! Had a jackdaw with a white tail feather at our last spot.

Hi mason
If you google white headed blackbird and look for the Utube clip you will see a bird very similar to the one you have photographed.

Thanks for that Outandabout, I'll have to try and borrow a video camera and see if I can catch him on film :D
