Target Practice

Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:48 pm

Cut the lawn today, now it's time for some target practice, (i really need it)

Here's where i shoot from...the target is at 50yds down the garden
Image

This is a bit closer
Image

A Robin had been sat on the chair, then decided to fly towards me
Image

Here's the Robins eye view of where i shoot from.....it's the white chair in the centre of the pic
Image

you can see it a little better from here
Image

You will not believe the next three pics........................................
the cheeky little sod
Image

was sat at about 55yds
Image

then decided to have a look from the other side
Image

Good job my shooting is a bit dodgy at that range, 10 shots at 50yds
Image

managed to cover 8 of them with 2p
Image

If it had come to the 30yd area, who knows ;)
Image

But i left it alone, put the rifle away, had a cuppa, walked into the kitchen, and saw it again taking the mick stretched out under my favourite bench
the crafty little sods must know when they're safe
Image

It's only young just now, so i'm leaving it to grow up and maybe, bring its mates for a visit

Yes, i think its days are numbered ;)

The garden is quite good for target practice, and the occasional game of footie with the grandkids,
here's some pics of the other bits for you.......

Thanks for your reply Gordon. Yes, it does take a bit of looking after, but it gets me "brownie points", for doing my bit (mainly cutting hedges...... and lawns...... and weeding........ and moving plants, when SWMBO wants a change) But it is handy when the family descend by the carload :D
