who wears the trousers

on their wedding night, the groom emerges from the restroom in his dressing gown & says
"before we start, do me a favour, try these on, see if you can wear them!" & tosses his trousers to his bemused bride!
she tries on the trousers but neither the buttons nor belt will pull the trousers tight enough, they keep sliding down over her hips
"now you know" he says, "who wears the trousers in this marriage!"
she looks at him for a couple of seconds, reaches under her nightie & slips her knickers off! tossing them to her new husband she says
"well here, see if you can get into them?"
try as he might, the groom can`t pull them up past his knees, he says
"nope, can`t get into them!"
his bride rolling over says
"yeah, & that`s how it`ll stay until your attitude changes, g`night!"
