Re: ftp900 on its way
Hi i have floated mine simply by removing the barrel shrouds and the center support bracket and this seems to have cured the zero shift. It is my firm belief that all 900's that are required to shoot consistently without zero shift must be floated. otherwise a fantastic rifle. enjoy

Re: Did you know...
That 75% of FTP900 owners have had to float there barrel to remove zero shift problems? it would be my guess that the remaining 25% are not shooting groups far enough, often enough or well enough to recognise that they need to float there barrels?
Re: FTP 900
I have one built December 2014, it did suffer from zero shift until i removed the barrel shrouds and center clamp (that has the spirit level to float the barrel. I dont know anybody who is using one that hasnt been floated one way or another.
Other than that its a fantastic rifle.
Good luck

as above, if you have any form of silencer or muzzle brake fitted my bet is your clipping pellets on the exit fractionally.

Re: Ftp 900 my first pcp help
Hi yes they should both spin ideally. My front one did and my rear one didnt, it was the rear one not spinning freely that i put down to the zero shifts i have been experiencing so they have both been removed along with the center barrel bracket and the barrel is now free floating.
