Plastic granules from the Bay work very well and are a lot lighter than rice, but a lot more expensive too!

Re: 190 bar fill
Mine went up 30 fps from 190 bar to its max at 145 bar. Not all S400's are created equal, but as our American friends say, you do the math!

You could try Tommy Bennet of Tillygunstocks. His work is excellent and he's a great guy to deal with. You'll find him on Facebook.

Re: Stainless screws
I have built up a stock of all the screws and just replace any that look dodgy when I have the gun apart. I can't remember the exact number, but there's less than a dozen different types. The ones that take most of the strain are M4x16 SKT and M3x16 SKT which are used in several places. I don't see ...

It's usually the manufacturer but it could be the retailer or your friend in the pub if it comes to that. You must deal with whoever gave the warranty. In this case, I suggest you ...

Re: Cold weather air leak!
Any suggestions on the best method to empty the cylinder in order to make the change? Just gently crack open the bolt that attaches the alloy gauge mount and wait until the hissing stops! Make sure you've got spare O-rings (6x1 and BS008) in case one or both get damaged (its a good idea to replace ...
