I've got 1500 of them to use before I think about heavier ones
Not sure what to do with the S410 carbine now sell it or keep it I don't know

Lord no I'm not trying to start a debate I'm just saying how I've got on on my first time out with .177 apposed to .22

I was always of the idea that bigger was better for hunting but I think I was wrong. I have an S410 carbine in. .22 zeroed at 30yrds and that was the limit of my hunting ability as I couldn't get to grips with range finding and hold over and under. So in another post I asked for opinions on the Ultimate in.177 for hunting and target shooting. After due consideration I bought one and a Hawke side winder scope. Yesterday I put about a 100 pellets through it and was so confident with it that I laid out in ambush tonight and took 3 rabbits with it...

I've had a play with it this afternoon it's been a bit windy but I'm happy with it
I even managed to cut down a couple of blades of grass
Mounted a Hawke side winder on it

Well I've listened to the comments on hear and now have a lovely new S510 ultimate in 177 5 tins of pellets a super duper new scope and a bipod so long ears best be looking over it's shoulder !!

I have an S410 carbine in 22 but would like to try a 177 and lets be honest the Ultimate is very pretty
