Re: moderator for an air arms s410 carbine
Nice one.
Have you actually tried it yet?
Mine is very quite, You can hear the action far louder than the shot?. But even that doesn't bother the bunnies.

Re: scope mounts
I'm not knocking you for having them on your guns. There's nothing wrong with having 50mm objective scope on a PCP rifle- I have 1 on mine and it works for me. However I think Roger was alluding to the fact that a PCP doesn't need a scope with a 50 mm objective lens on it. But like you say each to t...

Re: scope mounts
I agree with Roger about the 50mm objective.
I only use mine on my gun because I got it virtually free. However I mentioned it to highlight the mounts are quite caplable of being used with the bigger scopes.

Re: scope mounts
Have a look at the sportsmatch mount range. Not the cheapest but ideal mounts. Personally I have fixed sportsmatch high mounts on my S410 carbine, carrying an MTV viper 6-24 x 56 scope. Quite a big scope. I could have used medium mounts but the high mounts suited me better. I've never tried low moun...

Re: rats
A small spoonful of honey dropped on the ground. It keeps them there long enough get a good shot.
They can't resist it.
What distance are you shotting them at.
I only ask because in my garden at about 10 yards the pellets go right through, so I make sure there is a solid background

Out of favour pellets
Hi all Does anybody use Marksman or Bulldog pellets anymore. I used them years ago and they always did the job. They seem to have fallen out of favour now. Now I use only Field Diablo's. Having found them to be the best fit for the guns I use. However I only tried the "current" popular makes before ...
