Hi Raj

If the date doesn't clash with any of my HFT commitments, we WILL be there.

Hi Ray, we are both doing fine thanks.

In fact, I now own 3 Air Arms rifles:

HFT 500

Ultimate Sporter

S400 MPR

I love each and every one of them, these 3 are now my keepers.

Any tips for memory loss?

Hi guys. Yep, I'm still about, just! A couple of mornings ago, Buster and I went for an early morning (3:00) wander with the Ultimate Sporter. We drove down to a roadside pull in, close to the first field of one of my farm permissions. After about half an hour, I realised that I must have caught the...

Re: Shooting uphill.

Just a quick post to let you reprobates know I still keep a wary eye on what's going on in the AAOC.

Keep up the good work guys. 8-)

Some HFT 500 info.

I’m putting this post up as it may be of interest to Air Arms HFT 500 owners. After experiencing a little frustration with not seeming to be able to get at least 40 consistent shots with my HFT 500, I decided it would be best to spend some time shooting a fill over the chrono. Since buying the rifle...

Re: Home tuning.

Hopefully no more phone calls [woki] ......................LOL I have to admit to a long series of phone calls to Woki when I struggled with the firing pot filler/measuring valve setting. I was actually chatting to him hands free during one of the many re-assemblies. We carried on chatting whilst I...

Home tuning.

Over the last fortnight, I have been very busy with my two Air Arms rifles. My HFT 500 has been the main focus of my concern, seemingly unable to outshoot my Ultimate Sporter. It would group okay for 3 or 4 pellets but had never shot a 10 shot group without at least a couple of flyers. I had also ex...

Name change needed??

I used to refer to Buster and myself as the 'A-team', mainly due to the fact that we seem to work so well as a hunting/stalking duo. After an enforced lay off from regular trips out because of Buster's accident, he now seems fit enough to be able to resume his duties. I do think that a name change i...

Re: Annual Meet

Shock horror !! !! !! !! mikeygasbag and Buster will be pulling out all the stops to make this one. I've checked my burgeoning diary (as if), and it seems that I have a window for that weekend. p.s. if Gnomey is coming, better make sure there's plenty of sausages for the barbecue. BBF Ryan Timmytre...

Re: Crinkle washer

I go the whole hog, and completely polish the sears, not just the mating faces. I also polish the adjustment screws, because they too contact the sears.
