Re: Pellet Loader for the Air Arms Pro Sport

I have a similar issue - fingers are a bit large to get a .177 pellet in my PS. I use a pair of plastic tweezers - the sort that stamp collectors et al use. Couple of quid on eBay. Works for me - you grip the pellet by the skirt. Takes a bit of a knack to do it quickly, but easily learnt. Since pos...

Re: New Pro Sport Sometimes it will fire and sometimes it wo

Once set up properly the CD trigger is excellent. Personally I would strip it, clean out the transit grease and relube with something more appropriate, no end of "how to" info on the Internet, just google TX trigger (it's the same) dismantling or similar. If you don't feel comfortable wit...

They are beautiful, mine is my go to rifle for just about everything. The last "tug" at the end of the cocking stroke is well known but it's also important to remember a regular drop of light oil on the safety button, that helps to stop it sticking. As for getting the best from the Prospo...

Re: New Pro Sport Sometimes it will fire and sometimes it wo

Thanks for the assistance and recommendations. As of the last couple of sessions on my deck I haven't had any more incidents where I needed to cock the rifle a second time. So for now I think this must have been more to do with the user than the rifle and for now I think I will leave well enough al...

Re: New Pro Sport Sometimes it will fire and sometimes it wo

This can happen. As you have discovered, you had not fully cocked the rifle, simple as that. You heard the piston latchrod engage and thought it was fully cocked, it just required that little more. Thanks, but I was a bit surprised and somewhat concerned when it initially occurred. It certainly had...

New Pro Sport Sometimes it will fire and sometimes it won't

So I received my new Pro Sport the other day and I was able to finally get some firing in between the rain. My main objectives where to get more familiar with the gun, how to properly operate it, and attempt to zero the scope. In the middle of firing the weapon I cocked the weapon, loaded a pellet, ...

Pellet Loader for the Air Arms Pro Sport

Being a bit older my hands and more specifically my fingers aren't what they used to be. Now I know they have pellet loaders or pens for break barrel rifles but is there such a thing or something like that works with side loaders or non break barrel rifles like the Air Arms Pro Sport?
